Terms and Conditions, Liability Waiver, & Acceptable Use Policy

By signing up for communications from Connect Saints (the "Platform") or utilizing the services at www.connectsaints.com, you agree to receive messages via your chosen communication methods (SMS, RCS, and/or email). These communications are intended for members of your organization and their families. Use of the Platform constitutes a binding legal agreement between you and Connect Saints, LLC.2. Communication Frequency & Nature
By signing up, you understand that you may receive: * Regular updates about organization activities. * Important announcements, notifications, and emergency communications. * Other relevant organization information.Standard message and data rates may apply. Connect Saints, LLC is not responsible for any charges incurred from mobile carriers or internet service providers.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
3.1 Purpose & Mission The Connect Saints platform is strictly provided to facilitate community engagement, organizational transparency, and mission-based communication for non-profit entities. It is not a tool for commercial gain, lead generation, or financial solicitation.3.2 Permitted Use Cases (The "White List")
Users are encouraged to use the platform for the following "Typical Church/Community" activities:
* Invitations: Sending requests to participate in community, religious, or organizational activities.
* Reminders: Automated or manual nudges for upcoming service times, meetings, or rehearsals.
* Service Projects: Coordinating volunteers for community outreach or charitable works.
* Calendar Updates: Notifying members of schedule changes, holiday hours, or special event dates.
* Community Celebrations: Announcements regarding dinners, potlucks, holidays, and fellowship milestones.
3.3 Strict Prohibitions (The "Zero-Tolerance" List)
To protect the integrity of Connect Saints, LLC and the privacy of its consumers, the following are strictly prohibited:
* No Monetary Solicitation: The platform may not be used to collect, solicit, or facilitate the transfer of currency, digital assets, or financial pledges.
* No Commercial Marketing: Any use of the platform to promote a "for-profit" business, sale, or commercial event is a violation of these terms and will result in immediate account termination.
* No "Income-Generating" Activities: Even for non-profits, the platform must not be used for ticket sales, paid registrations, or any activity that appears to be for-profit or financial gain.
3.4 Charitable Donations & Goods
We recognize that non-profits often coordinate the collection of physical goods (e.g., food drives, clothing donations). Such activities are permitted only under the following conditions:
* 100% Voluntary: Participation must be entirely optional. Users may not use the platform to "require" or "mandate" donations as a condition of membership or participation.
* Non-Currency Valuation: Donations must never be valued in currency within the platform messaging.
* No Direct Financial Hooks: Messages may not include links to third-party payment processors (e.g., Venmo, PayPal, Stripe) for the purpose of collecting funds.
3.5 Prohibited "Bad Actor" Content (SHAFT Compliance)
In addition to the financial restrictions above, users are prohibited from sending content that includes:
* S.H.A.F.T. Content: Sexually explicit material, Hate speech, Alcohol/Tobacco/Firearms promotion.
* Deceptive Messaging: Phishing, spoofing, or misrepresenting the identity of the organization.
* Harassment: Using the platform to bully, stalk, or repeatedly contact individuals who have not responded or have opted out.
3.6 Enforcement & Liability
Connect Saints, LLC reserves the right to audit message logs to ensure compliance with this AUP.
* Immediate Suspension: We may suspend or terminate any account that "looks like" it is being used for commercial gain or unauthorized solicitation, at our sole discretion.
* Indemnity: The User assumes all legal and financial liability for messages that violate this AUP, including any carrier-imposed "Spam" fines or litigation from consumers.
4. Comprehensive Liability Waiver & Release
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connect Saints, LLC, its officers, and employees shall not be liable for any litigation, claims, or damages arising from: * Third-Party Actions: Any "bad actors," including unauthorized users who misuse the platform to send prohibited content or engage in harassment. * Theft of Information: While we employ security protocols, the User acknowledges that no digital transmission is 100% secure. You hereby waive all claims against Connect Saints, LLC for data breaches, hacking, or theft of information by third parties. * Service Failures: Any delay or failure in message delivery, including emergency notifications, due to carrier issues or technical outages.5. Indemnification (Protection for Connect Saints, LLC)
As a condition of using this platform, the User (the organization or individual sending messages) agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Connect Saints, LLC from any and all legal fees, fines, or statutory penalties (including TCPA penalties) resulting from: * Sending messages without "Prior Express Written Consent." * The content of any message sent through the platform. * Any violation of local, state, or federal law by the User or their agents.6. Opt-Out Rights & 2026 Compliance
In accordance with 2026 FCC and "Global Revocation" standards, you have the right to opt out at any time by: * Replying STOP to any SMS/RCS message (this is processed automatically). * Using the "Unsubscribe" link in emails. * Contacting the administrators directly at support@connectsaints.com.Once an opt-out is received, Connect Saints, LLC and the sending organization are legally prohibited from further automated contact unless a new, explicit opt-in is recorded.
